Established in 1986, the Aerosols Promotion Council has been actively representing the Indian aerosols industry for the promotion of Aerosols manufacturing, including the manufacture of vital inputs such as cans, valves, closures and machinery used in Aerosol Products.
Besides providing a platform and a voice to the Indian Aerosols Industry, the Aerosols Promotion Council was instrumental in formulating the India Country Program to phase out the use of Ozone Depleting Substances, in close collaboration with the Ministry of Environment and Forests, Government of India, and with multilateral agencies such as the World Bank and UNDP.
The Aerosols Promotion Council has been organising a biennial Exhibition & Conference since 2015 and the 5th Indian Aerosols Expo was held on 20 & 21 Feb 2023. The Aerosols Promotion Council is an founder member of The Asian Aerosol Federation which has six member countries; Australia, China, India, Japan, Thailand and New Zealand. Efforts are being made for tie-ups/cooperation with the Federation of European Aerosols & British Aerosols Manufacturers Association.
